It provides a direct connection to Compaq for automatic notification and delivery of the latest software updates for a broad range of Compaq systems including servers, desktops, portables, handheld PCs, and workstation models. This application is the latest update to the Compaq Intelligent Manageability line of products. ActiveUpdate 2.0 is enhanced to include additional support information topics such as Product Change Notification, Service Information, and Management Applications. The Customer is no longer required to search Compaq web site for updates since Active Update 2.0 does this automatically. ----- *NOTE: *Active Update 1.0 and 1.0.1 have been replaced by Active Update 2.0.
