The Compaq Netelligent Dual 10/100 TX PCI UTP Controller is the industry's
first high-performance dual 10/100Base-TX controller designed from the
ground up to meet the high transaction demands placed on the new Pentium Pro
servers. It supports the Compaq Advanced Network Fault Detection and
Correction feature in new Compaq servers which supports redundant server
NICs for added reliability. Migration from 10 to 100 Mb/sec is simple
because this dual-speed controller will automatically detect the network
connection speed. This bus-mastering controller offers Plug and Play
installation, full-duplex capability, and two separate 10/100 Fast Ethernet
segments utilizing a single PCI slot.
