Description
===========
The DEGPA incorporates a new technology that transfers data at a rate of one
gigabit per second - ten times the rate of a Fast Ethernet adapter. This
adapter targets the increased congestion experienced at the backbone and
server levels by today's networks. The DEGPA provides an upgrade path for
high-end servers and workstations that require more local area network (LAN)
bandwidth than either Fast Ethernet or FDDI can provide.
