Description
===========
The AXL300 PCI card is designed to relieve a server of its SSL-related
exponentiation. The PCI card contains specialized hardware designed to
perform the modular exponentiation necessary to establish an SSL connection.
Because the hardware on the card is optimized for this operation, it can
perform the necessary operations efficiently, without requiring CPU cycles.
This allows a server to greatly increase its SSL connection rate and devote
more of its processor time to the other aspects of serving secure web pages.
The AXL300 PCI offloads security processing overhead so that CPU utilization
devoted to exponentiation drops to near zero.
