OVERVIEW
The Compaq Two-Channel Host Bus Adapter is a high performance PCI option module that connects devices attached to its two 16-bit Ultra3, 160-MB/s
LVD/SE SCSI ports to a PCI-based host AlphaServer system. The module supports both 32-bit and 64-bit PCI slots.
The 3X-KZPEA-DB adapter is supported on the following AlphaServers and Alpha Workstations:
AlphaServer DS10 One HBA is the maximum supported
AlphaServer DS10L One HBA is the maximum supported
AlphaServer DS20E Four HBA's are the maximum supported
AlphaServer ES40 (EV68 Only) Four HBA's are the maximum supported
AlphaServer ES45 Four HBA's are the maximum supported
AlphaStation XP900 One HBA is the maximum supported
AlphaStation XP1000 One HBA is the maximum supported
The 3X-KZPEA-DB is supported on the following operating systems:
Tru64 UNIX
- The minimum SRM console version is V5.8
- The minimum Tru64 UNIX driver version is 2.269A CHIM 261A4 for Tru64 UNIX V5.1
- The minimum Tru64 UNIX driver version is 2.269B CHIM 360 for Tru64 UNIX V5.1A
OpenVMS
- The minimum SRM console version is V6.0
- V7.2-2 installs must include TIMA Kit DEC-AXPVMS-VMS722_FIBRE_SCSI-V0100-4.PCSI or later
- V7.3 installs must include TIMA Kit DEC-AXPVMS-VMS_FIBRE_SCSI-V0100-4.PCSI or later
