When the conversion is complete, refer to the Compaq ProLiant Storage System Model UE User Guide for additional information. WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock or damage to the equipment: s If the system has multiple power supplies, disconnect power from the system by unplugging all power cords from the power supplies. s Unplug the power cord before removing the power supply. Before Beginning the Conversion Before beginning the conversion, perform the following steps: 1. Back up all data on the storage system drives. 2. Perform a normal operating system shutdown on the server. 3. Turn OFF the server supporting the storage system. 4. Place the storage system in STANDBY. 5. Disconnect the SCSI cable from the storage system. 6. Disconnect the power cord(s) from the storage system. 7.
